HeadSTEP Systeme simple steps

Step 1

Set the HeadSTEP system on the tabletop.

Step 2

Choose a suitable pillow and angle adjustment.

Step 3

Position the patient´s head in the head support.

Step 4

Center the iFRAME with the iCAST mask material over the patient´s face.

Step 5

Pull the iCAST mask material gently, carefully and steadily over the patient´s face, starting at the chin, until the outer frame touches the baseplate.

Step 6

Snap the frame into the designated bracket on the baseplate and lock it on the back end of the HeadSTEP.

Step 7

Mold the mask material around the patient´s facial outline. The molding of the nose bridge is of crucial importance, as this is the reference point of the mask.

Step 8
Mold around the chin and the eyes, advising the patient to keep the eyes closed. let the mask cool off for 5 minutes until it is really hardened.
